First Avenue Club Stars
First Avenue is a famous noghtclub venue in Minneapolis. It was featured in the Prince movie. I went there once many years ago.

That’s me at the Target Center in Minneapolis.besides the Mary Tyler Moore statue in Minneapolis, and at the geographical center of North America marker in Rugby, North Dakota.
Our trip to the USA was short: three days and two nights. One day was spent in Minneapolis and two days were spent driving there.
We were at the Target Center for a Blink 182 concert. Tony enjoyed it.
The Free Palestine writing on the pavement beside the MTM photo marred that photo. I should have posed beside the photo when I first saw it Tuesday morning. In the evening when I came back to it, a menacing group of blsck men, all of whose members were wearing red capes, was standing beside the statue. A man was preaching while the rest stood guard around him. He talked of God, I thought they were Black Muslims. Perhaps they wrote on the sidewalk.
The three of us — that be Ron, Tony & I spent too much time in stores. Prices were scary.
We were in Minnesota when its governor Walz was chosen to be Harris’s running mate. In the rural areas, we saw Trump signs.
Downtown Minneapolis was seedy. There was not much pedestrian traffic in the day except for misfits, who were mostly black.
