The value of a college or university is its social network

 I came upon this: The value of a College or University is its social network. Period. 

I spent seven years at two universities getting two pieces of paper:  two bachelor’s degrees.  I look back at this and I cringe at my stupidity.  At a certain point later, I realized I had wasted my time.  

The immediate years after my graduation, I did low wage unprofessional work.  

Getting my first degree, I didn’t have friends and so I had no social network. 

Going for my second degree, there was in the back of mine, the idea of trying to get a social network.  I didn’t quite succeed. I had fun but at the end, I realized I had been a fool.

Maybe, I was never meant to be.
